Fall Beauty Swaps | Winterizing your makeup look

IMG_5175

Hey Gorgeous!

Its that time of the year again where I swap some of my daily makeup products with fall shades to winterize my makeup look. I dont wear makeup on daily basis but I carry a basic makeup bag with me, just in case if I have any urgent meeting or plans.

IMG_5195

Fall skin is all about a beautiful glow so lets put our matte or powder foundations on side & opt for some beautiful dewy finishes. I will be swapping my UD powder foundation with my Dior Nude Air Serum foundation for a radiant look.

IMG_5187

For brows I will be swapping my Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil 002 Hazel with 001 Dark Brown.
And I will also go to the store & check if they have another darker shade in Brow This Way Kit otherwise 002 Medium Brown is also fine.

I will be swapping my all time favorite H&M Dipliner with Bourjois Contour Clubbing Waterproof pencil in ultra black. Its creamy enough to give you a beautiful line but its smudge proof & stays put for long time. Its also great for the season's eye liner trend: encircled eyeliner
For completing this eyeliner look, some thick lashes are great so I will be using my Bourjois Max Volume mascara.

I will swap my NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milkshake with 605 Strawberry Milk.

IMG_5193

For my lips I am swapping my MAC Please Me with NYX Butter Gloss in Trimisu & MAC Whirl for daytime. For nights I am loving MAC Rebel.

I am gonna put away my H&M blusher in Sweet Rose & carry my Benetint with me. Also for some extra color I have picked a new NYX cream blush in CB09 Orange. I am looking for a new berry shade cream blusher. (Leave your suggestions below)

Swapped my MAC MSF in Refresh with my Guerlain Terracotta bronzer for adding some warmth to my look.

Beauty Must Have | Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub Review

IMG_4770

Hello My Bubblies!

Alot of soft kisses for you all.
Today I'm sharing with you a very long due review of my favorite lip scrub.
You guyz have seen this scrub many times on my Instagram as I have mentioned my skin care must haves here, here & here.
So I finally took out the time to write this review & tell you bout this awesome product.

This is my first every lip & Lush product. I bought it & used it once but stopped using it as I didnt like it much. Then one day I decided to try it again & see if it works. And it actually did!

I love this scrub for my lips as it really exfoliates them well, removes all the dead skin & leaves them kissable. I love how it plumps my lips & make them look more fuller! My lips look pink & my lipsticks goes on smoothly & stays for hours without cracking or flaking, even the matte ones!
A little goes long way & you dont required alot of it to exfoliate your lips. I use it & then apply my Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm to moisturize.

It smells sweet & actually tastes like a bubblegum (Yes! I have tasted it). The jar is a little glass container with very Lush-ish black & white labeling. I love how the bright color is visible from boarders that makes it look even cuter. There are 2 more flavors available in this scrub, popcorn & mint julep, so if you dont like the smell you can opt for others.

I absolutely love this product & excited to try a few more from Lush. I'm happy that I took the plunge & purchased it for aroung 61SAR (If I remember correctly). I have been using it from quiet sometime & still it will last me like forever. Please recommend me some other Lush must haves. Till next time...

MACaholic | MAC Wash & Dry collection 2015

IMG_4794

Hello Beauties!

We all know that I am a MAC hoarder & pretty packaging always makes me go gaga.
Then how could have I missed this collection from MAC?

This collection was one of summer 2015 collections by MAC & came out online in May but it was in Jeddah stores in August. This one was a big collection with bronzers, highlighters, blushers, eye shadows, eye pencils, eye brow products, lipsticks, glosses etc.

There were a few regular products with special packaging & some of the shades were limited edition. I was passing through the store & I saw the colorful display, after that we all know what happened. I picked total 4 products including my first limited edition brush.

MAC lipstick in  Morange:
I wanted to pick this shade in last year summers as orange lips were in. this shade is described as vivid bright orange color with an Amplified finish. Its a bold bright orange with warm red undertones & very very fine orange shimmer to it. This color is a regular shade but it was in a limited edition packaging so I finally picked it.

MAC Freshen Up Highlight powder:
A beautiful coral to neutral highlight powder. After mixing it together it gives a bright peachy tangerine warm tone with a very fine shimmery finish look. I also noticed that most of the sheen on the surface is an over-spray which is gone after first swatch. Its a tri colored powder that will make a good highlight for darker skin tone but just a blush for fair complexion. Any ways i picked it since the packaging was worth it.

MAC blusher in Hipness:
I went back 2nd day to pick this blusher because I dont know why I didnt pick on the first visit. Its a very pretty coral pink color with warm undertones to it. It has matte finish with good color payoff, soft & thin texture. The formula isnt powdery but I find it a lil difficult to blend on skin as it seems to stick on certain areas. But I absolutely love how it looks after application & I'm happy that I picked it.

MAC 125SE split fiber dense face brush:
This is the product I was really excited to try & I'm really really happy that I picked it. Its a widened, face brush with two distinct sides - natural fibers & synthetic fibers. I found it really different, had my eyes on it & its not available regularly so I immediately picked it.

So, the idea behind combining these two is that natural fibers give a very soft-defused look while the synthetic bristle fuse the color on the skin. This brush can be used with both; powder & cream products. It is flat at the top which makes it a really good brush for contouring as it will get into the hollows of your cheek.

I use it every time & I love the results.

October Favorites 2015

IMG_4759

Dear Beauties!

We are already in November, thats like 2nd last month of the year, nearly end of 2015!

This month has been quite a good one for me in terms of beauty. I have discovered a few new favorites that I'm absolutely in love with & I'm excited to share them with you along some of other things.

IMG_4763

To start off with I have been loving MAC Fix+ mist the most. Its been such a treat for my face & makeup routine. I love how it makes my skin look so radiant, hydrated & smooth. I picked it from the limited edition Fix+ collection & it smells like lavender which is just a very relaxing scent. I love to use it for my daily makeup, party makeup & sometimes itself for a beautiful skin. Read more here.

I love to try out different products & while that I cam across this Boots Cucumber Whitening Moisturizing day cream. I love how it moisturized my skin very well & makes it soft. This cream is an essential part of my every day morning routine. It doesnt make my skin oily & its very effective in removing that dull look from your face. Read more here.

As all my readers & followers know that I love lipsticks & I have been trying out many liquid lipsticks since they came out. So recently, I tried these MUA Luxe Liquid lipsticks on a recommendation from a friend as she mentioned that they are really good dupe of limecrime. Well I will not say that they are exact dupe but if you are looking for something that is easy on pocket then yes definitely a good option. Read more here.

So I had this perfect croptop which I loved wearing during this month. I picked in my recent fashion haul from Cache Cache. Its in my favorite combo of B&W stripes with cobalt blue sequence.  Check out the complete look I have put together here.

My this favorite isnt a beauty or fashion product but my all time favorite candle from Bath & Body works in Pumpkin Heirloom. I love the warm scent of pumpkin in my room while having a cup of coffee & reading some good book. I have used it really carefully as this isnt available throughout the year. BBW candles are my favorite & i always end up picking 3 to 4 during my every visit.

What have been your favorites for the month?
