My June Favorites

1. Chocomania Body Butter by The Body Shop:

This body butter needed to be discussed from my June shopping haul. It smells absolutely amazing- just like a rich chocolate should which is not overpowering. The first time I applied it I literally came out of bed twice to reapply this. Its thick creamy texture does a great job for moisturizer my skin. Its not really oily but adds a beautiful sheen on your skin when applied. Mix it with other body butters to get your own amazing smell. I hardly hit the pan of any product and just within a month I have used half of it. Yes! half of the body butter has been used & I'm definitely re-purchasing it. I got this in small size which can be easily carried in bag & travel friendly. Highly recommended! but yeah avoid contact with your mouth as it taste very very awful :-P

2. Bourjois shower gel Deluxe Mousse:

I have used this shower gel through out the month as the first time i used it i felt in love with its smell & rich foam. Literally as smooth as a mousse. It has this amazing texture that transforms into a rich lather & just close your eyes & enjoy the vanilla aroma. Not just this, it contains the extracts of Aloe Vera for softening, smoothing & soothing your skin + angelica extracts the anti-bacterial body. The mousse, dense & slippery formula is ideal for shaving your skin in shower. Definitely recommended & on my re-purchase list.

3. Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Peach Club:

Here is my favorite lip product of the month. Though i bought this Rouge Edition Velvet in 3 colors but I used this Peach Club the most. Its very bright Orangy-coral which has the perfect matte finish. the formula is so great, stays on for hours without drying your lips or setting in fine lines. The color is build-able but i preferred keeping it light with one coat only. The only prob I had with lip products was they never used to stay on my lips either too drying or to glossy to go, but this is just perfect. Now I can eat, drink & still can have my lips perfect for more then 9 hours. My new favorite lip products & highly recommended. For complete review click here.

4. Scandal Eyes waterproof mascara by Rimmel:

Ok! Consider it as not so favorite. I dont know about others but I really dont have a good experience with this mascara. I went to the store & wanted to buy the red Scandal Eyes Rocking Curves mascara but the saleswoman gave me this saying its the best seller. I bought it & tried it the very next day & was very disappointed. Why? Because while applying & layering up only the mascara started to clump, flake & fell down. I tried to use it at different times but never worked for me. It didnt give any result or had any difference on my lashes. A BIG No No from me.

5. Bourjois Liner Clubbing Ultra Resistance Eyeliner:

I bought this eyeliner from Sephora on a saleswoman recommendation & after using it I really liked it. The color is very black & it dries to a perfect matte finish. During the summers my eyeliners whether waterproof or not, always smudges on my upper lid but this didnt smudge at all. It doesnt state that its waterproof but I splashes the water on my face twice to see what happens & to my surprise it didnt come off, didnt even smudge! The brush is thin which helps drawing very thin & perfect winged eyeliner. I have this in color 81 Absolute Black. Definitely one of my favorite eyeliners.

6. Daisy Sunshine by Marc Jacobs:

Its a fresh floral-fruity fragrance perfect wear for spring/summer. It opens with juicy notes of Mandarin Orange, Red Currants & Guava. The heart is composed of lily of the valley, lychee & violet, laid on the base of blonde wood & musk. Its longevity is moderate but if mixed with body cream/lotion and applied on skin it stays fresh for hours. The plus point bottle is so cute & beautiful. A must try for this season of heat to make you smell fresh!

Summer 2014 whishlist

Summer is most definitely here & with every new season comes a whole new list of things I feel I need. From neon nail polishes, liquid bronzers to try out, some chic gladiators to colorful makeup brushes.



1. Essie neon polishes "Too Taboo":
I heard some great review from beauty bloggers about these neon nail polishes by Essie. They are not traditional neons which need a white base. They are not streaky but a matte formula to contented with. the colors are simply fantastic & neon enough for summers. Will go with any sundress or your neutral outfits.

2. Forever21 Gladiator Sandals:
I cant get them out of my head since the last time I visited Forever21's shop. I so regret not buying them at that time but they are a must buy on my next visit. They are cool for completing the summer look & weary airy to keep your feet fresh. They are a must have for completing that summer chic look.

3. Sun beam:
I'm not much into contouring my face at all times but hey who wouldn't like to have that sun glow & subtle contouring on your face while the summers. Consider it as liquid sunshine in a bottle as its a golden-bronze skin highlighter. I own alot of compact bronzers but iIl have never tried a liquid bronzer so this one really appeals to me. And beside this I have heard such great reviews about this product & thinking to give it a try next time i visit any Benefit counter.



4. BH Cosmetics Pop Art brush set:
I have been looking for a good quality brushes but at reasonable price?? Thts where these brushes came in, they are some serious bargain. There are 10 cute & convenient brushes which comes in a stripe container.  The packaging is compact & travel friendly. The first time I saw these I fell in love with the colors & added them to my must haves list for this summer.

5. Tees from "The T-shirt Swag" Dubai:
Well I'm a sucker for fun & Unique fashion pieces and while scrolling down my Instagram feed a Tee by "The T-shirt Swag" caught my eyes. They create fun customized tees inspired by the high end fashion & illustration.The quality is great & you dont have to compromise on your customized one. I'm in love with their tees and after seeing them on my favorite bloggers & Hollywood personalities, they are on my list. Not to forget they are super comfy & chic. My favorites are their Burqa, Pretenzo, YSL & Chanel no.5 Tees.



6. Vaseline Spray & Go moisturizer:
Bloggers have been talking about this Spray on moisturizer alot. Its a unique & very easy way to apply the moisturizer. Just spray it on your body & rub to absorb it. There are three different types to target specific thing like 1. The Green: which is rich with Aloe Vera extracts for hydrated & fresh looking skin. 2. The Yellow: which is rich with oats extracts & strays 3 multi-layer moisture at the top, core & deep down layers of skin. 3. The brown: which contains cocoa butter & ignites skin's natural glow. Its not available in KSA yet.



7. Garnier Dry Shampoo:
I think I have a dry shampoo problem. If a new one hits the  market or catches my eye I have to but it & try it. I love the obvious benefit- the fact that they extends the life of my hair between washes but more than that it would be it's ability to give impressively big hairs. The best thing is it gives more volume with less product. Its less powdery & you dont really have to wash it next day. Other plus point its not expensive. This dry shampoo will hit the shelves in July & definitely on my list.

My May Favorites

Hello Beauties!

I feel like the month of May passed in front of me & I didnt notice! Its been an extremely busy month. The summer has officially started & the weather has changed so as the beauty & style needs. Its hard sometimes to find the products which suits your skin & daily routine. Here are some of my May favorite products & styles which i followed throughout the month of May.



1. Vaseline Total Moisture:
I'm not big fan of lotions & creams as they make my skin oily & shiny, but with this one I had an amazing experience. It made my skin soft & gave it the perfect moisture it needed without making it too dry or too oily. It also helped in creating perfect matte but still glowing skin complexion without breakout. I used to apply it 15 minutes before the makeup & after every face wash. I'm absolutely in love with this & will be using it everyday.



2. Ponds Flawless White face wash:
In last 6 months my skin started to have breakouts & dryness issues. I figured out it was because of my face wash. My "T" area became really really oily & other areas became extremely dry. I tried almost every face wash i could have but nothing worked. In the end I gave this one a try & trust me after that I forgot what skin dryness or breakouts are.



3. Ponds Flawless White BB+ Cream:
From all BB creams this one is my fave of all time. It gives me the best coverage & matches perfectly with my skin tone. Giving me that perfect matte finish with glowing skin. 4. HM blusher in Sweet rose:
I used it daily for completing my look & getting the rosy cheeks. It was the perfect shade of pink for day to night looks. Not too pink to look bright & not too dull. Read more about it here.



5. MAC lipstick in Candy Yum Yum:
I loved using this shade for the month of May as its bright neon pink & I felt completely glowing in this. It has the matte finish  with good staying power. It complemented my overall look very nicely & the texture is very smooth. I wore single coat of it almost daily to the work & for nights I used to apply 2 3 layers to build up the color. Went perfectly with my blusher as well. I'll be posting a complete review on it soon.



6. Maybelline Great Lash Mascara:
With such bright pink lipstick & rosy cheeks  I opted for simple eyes by using only Maybelline Great Lash mascara. It makes my eyelashes look bigger, thicker & more black. It was a good suit for the weather as it doesnt smudge. Read more here.
