2016 | New Year Personal & Blogging Goals



Dear Beauties!


I cant believe that 2015 is already over & we are in 2016!!!

Finally the worst year has passed which felt like never ending & with the new year I am looking forward to the new & better things to come.

2015 was one of the hardest year of my life & I will consider it "The lessons Year". I was struggling with alot of things at same time & I dont know how I made it to here, like seriously! I never thought I will. And then keeping up with everything was so difficult at times but since it has ended lets leave everything their & set some new goals for the year ahead of us.

Personal Goals:
Dont skip the workout & eat healthy (because that really helps me)
Make a saving plan & stick to it (that means no makeup hoarding Anam!)
Focus more on my career & take my job seriously (since I have been promoted as a Manager)
But dont forget to pamper yourself atleast once in a month.
Schedule your me time & unplug from everything.
Read more books.
Travel to a new place.
Cross atleast 2 items from you Fashion list.


Blogging Goals:
Do more of Vlogging (I tried but couldn't manage it well last year)
Try to be more active on social media especially Instagram.
Pre plan your photoshoots.
Make & maintain an Editorial Calendar.
Take good quality pictures
Learn to edit my photos & videos

And with all these there is alot more I have to share with you guyz but not now. Let me come back from my vacations & spill the beans. I am very excited & positive about this year with all the happiness & opportunities to come. I wish you a very happy & blessed new year ahead! I hope this brings alot of success, prosperity & countless blessings in your life.

Fall 2015 | 7 Most wearable fashion trend

Dear Beauties!

Its almost the time for another fashion roundup to check what we are going to see this fall. Alot of our looks got an upgrade & I'm so ready to rock a few of these. Car wash skirts to long line blazers, from browns to neons, I have some major alerts for you, so lets get started.

Call it a more polished sister of last year's fringe trend. Car wash skirts are big this season. 

Statement earnings for minimal effort & maximum impact.
Layered up turtlenecks were all over the fashion weeks. 

90s brown not only for your lips but for cloths as well
Look longer & leaner with an upgrade to our go-to-work-style with long line blazers
Its almost time to take a little break from skinny silhouettes & put on some flares 

Chunky knit sweaters & even dresses were a hit on the runways.

Iconic media Iftaar + Eid collection- 2015

Many famous media, bloggers & magazine personalities were invited to the event where Iconic showcased their new collection which added alot of glamour to the evening. Iconic always chooses a good venue & with that always has the best hospitality with warm welcome from their team.

The collection displayed in the event was very pretty. I always feel that its a one-stop-shop for the whole family. From yourself to your little fashionista & from your other half to his junior, Iconic got you covered for all!

I loved the sequenced & thread detailing on many pieces especially on my favorite black & red color combos. This collection is inspired by the vintage cuts from 50s, 60s, 70s glamour but Iconic didn't forget the modern day chic with their sailor inspired, boho, sporty & resort chic pieces. Little announcement & a step ahead!

Hello Dear Readers!

I hope that all of you are doing well, working your ways up to your dreams & goals.
Staying positive & welcoming everything with a calm heart & smile is very important to climb the success stairs. We all wakeup with certain dreams every morning & spend our day working towards them. Its best to take one step at a time while enjoying what you do & experiencing it fully.

Rushing things & jumping these stairs will take you no-where. You have to stand still through thick & thin to build strong base which will last forever. There are times when we feel lost & dont understand which way leads to our destination. I will say only one thing here, trust your instincts because the energy never lies & go on the path your heart leads you to. Nothing worth having comes easy, we need to work very hard & give our utmost dedication to see the beauty of success.

Palazzo guide: 10 Ways to rock Palazzo Pants

Palazzo are super wide leg, loose, flowing pants that were super popular back in the 60s & 70s. And as many trends do, palazzos have made a comeback since last few years & seem like a major trend for this season that too pretty big ones. I see them everyday on Fashion bloggers, Pinterest & now even in stores around. 
Being a desi I loved this trend & wore alot of palazzos with really long shirts but now its time to go more western with them. So I picked a few pairs which you will be seeing in my upcoming Instagram updates. I personally love them and they compliments my tall height really well. If paired nicely they really make me look thin (Big Yay for this). Also they can be worn for casual to professional & day to night looks. So lets get started & see what can we do with them.


1. Feminine look:
Pair your simple palazzo with a lace top for a pretty feminine look. It can be worn for a day look, breakfast, brunch & also for nights.




2. Edgy look:
Pair a bold color palazzo with simple top & leather jacket for solid & tough look. They go perfectly together.




3. Morning meetings:
Ofcourse being a blogger & so gregarious we do the morning meetings. What can be the best way then rocking the plazzo with a blazer & wedges or heels for more of a professional look. Dont forget to play with prints & colors.




4. Beach look:
Every time you have worn the cover ups & kaftans over your bikinis but this season use a palazzo & add a straw hat for a look that will be perfect for after beach too.




5. Errands running look:
Wear a high-waisted palazzo pants with a crop top, which is also good for giving your body some shape. Add some sunnies & sleek pony for ultra chich look.




6. The Jumpsuit look:
Wear it all in one color for an outfit that gives that jumpsuit look & accessorize for a pretty look.




7. Fun look:
Wear a bold funky graphic tee to go with your bold/bright palazzo for a fun outfit.



8. Comfy look:
Wear it with a loose top for  comfy outfit put dont forget to ass a necklace and a hat so it doesnt look like you are in your pjs.




9. Hippie vibes:
If you are not into the baggy style them tie a knot in the front of any shirt cinch it in at your waist.




10. Professional look:
 Tuck in a button down printed or plain shirt with a belt & heels for more professional look.

Spring & Summer 2015 trends

Dear Fashion-istas!
New year, new season & new things, Polka-dots, monochrome & sheers are just a part of list. With hundreds of fashion shows across four big cities its very tricky to say least. But dont you worry, here is the cheat sheet of the trends which made major impacts on the runways.  I'm sharing few top trends as seen on fashion runways to keep your look updated.

Left to Right: Marc Jacobs, Junya Watanbe, Dolce & Gabbana

1. Polka Dots:
A simple & yet classy print that has retained its impact over the years, the polka dot burst joyously onto the runways this fashion week. From faded straps to 3D designed or dotted regularly across a dress, polka dots were worn black & white.


2. Black Mesh:
Worn all over or as a single piece, mesh is the season's answer to graphic sportswear. Banded across the chest on a top or a dress, the sheer fabric gives a suggestive allure, partly revealing & partly concealing the lies beneath.


3. Monochrome:
An ultra refined palette for maximum optical effects was the choice of many designers, for a deceptively minimalist yet effective look, which shows its complexity in the combination of materials, studs, zips, matte & gloss finishes.



4. Tassels:
While last season was all about long fringe, this spring is learning more decorative tassels. Beaded, colorful, textured tassels were seen on waists, bottoms or all over the dresses. All set for the dance floor.


5. Sultry Sheers:
Spring is an apt time to embrace transparent but this season is taking it a notch higher with fully transparent pleated skirts, regardless of its an ideal illustration of sexy & coy-a secretary shape with a boudoir fabrication as seen on runways.


6. Dressed up skirts:
Oh well I know this looks very stupid & atleast I'm not going to try this but you never know. Designers felt why bother with just a dress when you can top it off with a skirt. Minis & pencils did double duty as extra chic belting over poplin shirt & pleated gowns were seen on the ramps.

7. Hippie Deluxe:
Stepping straight out from 70s, the long, light & flowing dresses will be in the breeze this summer. This season, the luxury bohemian trend took on the runways in powder pink silhouettes, motifs & pleats.
