Top 12 Fall 2016 Trends | Bombers, Military, Oilive, Velvet, Fur, Patchwork, Pins, Chokers

*I wish you guys could see my face while writing this post, I am that excited.*

I am always excited for this season of the year as we hardly get any cold here in Jeddah but this year I am really looking forward to it as I am gonna be in Pakistan. I have been seeing many different trends popping up but I narrowed down mine and have finally started to shop for it.

With all the fashion weeks ended and people already started to transition their looks into fall I have picked my favorites. And while I shop all these and revamp a few of old ones I wanted to share these with you guyz too.

1. Military/olive colors:
This one has to be my favorite color for the season. I have been seeing it every where in pants, jackets, shoes everything.  This season is really dominated by all things military style, color and print. I really want to pick a military jacket and I have also seen amazing lace up heels at Bershka.
While shopping I noticed few of great pieces @ Bershka, Pull and Bear, ZARA and New Look.

2. Patch work & Pins:
We all have many pair of jeans a few denim jackets and to be honest I am kinda over them because I have been wearing them since my childhood. But this patch work is going to give a new look to many of our staple pieces while adding that pop of fun to the. I am so excited to do some DIYs with all the patch stickers and pins available in market. A few great were spotted @ Also, Stradivarius & Newlook. Oh Oh, Top shop and Newlook has a great pair of jeans with sequined patch work on them.

3. Velvet:
The fabric of the season is so wonderfully soft that you'll want to touch it constantly. Velvet looks so sexy and luxe on body. But this years its not limited to your clothes as I have spotted many shoe, flats, sneakers, heels to bags, gloves and chokers on runway and street. Already having an obsession with the beautiful colors of it, I have purchased 4 shirts to get them embroidery and looking for my perfect pair of shoe now.

4. Fur:
Designers have already had a love affair with luxe fur stoles but asymmetrical draping style trick makes it different than ever before. But you can carry it how ever you prefer and they have been such a staple for fall wardrobe always. I have already got mine and I cant wait to rock it.

5. Military Trench coat:
Pre fall nautical trends continues strong into fall 2016 with navy/military inspired knee to ankle length coats. I have seen them every where from very formal to the ones with patch works. Pair it with heels or sneakers, this trend is here to never fail your outfit goals.

6. Camo Prints:
Lets just confess, we all have a pair of cargo pants in camo print! but this season its not limited to your pants. Camo skirts, camo shirts, camo jackets are all around the stores. Camo print jackets are having a major moment.

PS: Why have I noticed alot of military/camo stuff? Is it me, because I am getting married to an army man or is it really big?? But regardless I am completely rocking these.

7. Statement Sleeves:
So the off shoulder made it to fall by encouraging us to play with different styles of sleeves like ruffles, bell bottomed, bubble sleeves, balloon style, poofed up and so on. This is going to add just an extra cute detail to out outfits. I have been thinking about Disney princesses ever since I noticed this one.

8. Embellishes Guitar Straps:
I am a bag lover and any detail to my bag is a big hit for me. I have been noticing this from the beginning of the year. It is such a cool trend that you can pull off without trying to hard. You can carry this trend on casual days and it will look great on coats and jackets. Yayyyyy!!!!

9. Choker:
Chokers have been around since long but they made a major come back this year. It doesnt matter if you prefer a thin velvet strap or a big heavy metal ones, just make sure there is a choker on your neck to add a little edge to your outfits. I have seen a really goos ones at Stradivarius with a pack of 5 for 59 SAR.

10. Leather Trench coat:
Looking for a raincoat thats equal parts chick and functional? Look no further than next season's patent leather trench coats. Designers looked into leather to craft coats in sleek silhouettes. These style also varies from your classic trench to street-ready.

11. Bombers:
Bomber jackets were big this season and they have definitely staying in fall. Originally designed for WWII pilots in mid 1950, bomber jackets have transformed from a part military uniform, to a high-street fashion staple. Not only does it look sharp but you can wear it with anything and look fashion shot ready.
This trend is so easy to wear_ pair it with bomber of choice with jeans or chinos and a button-down shirt or throw it on your sweats.

12. Sweats:
For me, sweats are always in and this season I have another reason to rock it more often. We all love sweats because how comfy and cozy are they. Do we need more excuses to wear it? Hell no, We dont even need one but I still gave you one more.

So have you decided yours? I am definitely doing some DIYs and fashion posts. Would you guyz like to see it or read it? Let me know in the comments below.

Drugstore Gems | Rimmel 9-in-1 BB cream ( Matte & Radiance)

Just like every other BB cream, Rimmel BB creams also claims to provide many benefits in one tube!
So, Today we will read if the claims are actually true and does this thing really works?

I am a fan of these Alphabetic cream, especially BB cream. I love my skin base minimal and light but no matter how hard your try you end up layering different products for different properties. Thats why I love BB creams as they have multiple benefits and I don't have to go all those steps, because hey! I ain't got no time in morning.

I have been using the Rimmel BB cream Matte from a very long time and I discovered that they have a Radiance version when it came in my mail. Yippeeee!

I love how these have 9 benefits which primes, smoothes, conceals, minimize pores, moisturizes for upto 24hr, awakens, brightens and mattifies/adds radiance depending on which one you picked. The shades have more of cool to neutral undertones which I like as everyone can wear these unless you wanna look really warm or bronzy summer ready.

The best part is I get to apply only one layer of product and in summers its all about let your skin breath. I love how it has SPF 25 which is always a plus point to makeup product I pick. I have dry skin but for some reasons my skin hate ayering up the products and it just hates SPF separately. If I apply any product which is a little heavy I feel my skin cant breath and its suffocated, it also sweats alot.

These BB creams have more of a moussy thicker texture than most of the Westernized BB creams, it is closer to the Korean version of BB creams. Thats why these BB creams require a little more blending than your usual ones. Most of the people claim that these just sit on their skin and doesn't get absorbed. The reason behind this is the texture, you require less product than your usual BB creams and blend it a little more too. once they are blended they give you a beautiful sheer-to-medium coverage that lasts.

I don't recommend this for the sensitive or acne prone skin since it has potentially irritating amount of alcohol and fragrance, so chances are your skin can react. So if you have acne prone or sensitive skin, pass on this one!!!

But its a really good product for those with normal skin. The matte version works well for oily to normal skin, but works fine for the dry skin too (speaking from the experience). I would also suggest that oily skin people set it with a powder just to keep it in the place and last longer in this hot weather (I love the Rimmel Match Perfection for that). Its not a matte-matte version but gives you a subtle matte-ish look, just keep that in consideration.

The Radiance version is good for dry skin only as I feel its just too dewy for normal skin even. But its better than many other drugstore version of BB creams and my second favorite after Ponds BB Cream.  I use my Ponds BB+ throughout the year but I also really enjoy the Rimmel one during colder months.

Primes??                  Yes
Smoothes??              Yes
Conceals??               Almost
Minimize pores??     Almost
Moisturizes??           Yes
Awakens??               Absolutely
Brightens??              Not really
Mattifies??               Somewhat
Radiance??               Yes

Overall:
They are a really good product that works as it claims. It has SPF, primes and gives a good coverage. Its also very light on pocket and the tube packging makes it really easy to use. Its also very great to carry in our bags to work or school. However there are few things which you need to consider before making your purchase. Regardless its my second favorite and I absolutely enjoy it. It doesnt sit into my line or transfer to my scarf. It makes my skin look perfected and more rested + awake.

Let me know about your favorite BB cream below in comments.

Fashion Trends 2016 | Sunglasses for your face shape

Dear Fashionistas!

It's officially summers!!
High-time to discuss sunglasses!

So with all your vacation & travel plans dont forget to treat yourself with a great pair of new sunglasses. Sunglasses dont only add instant glamour to your personality, makes you look hotter but they are great for protecting your eyes from UV rays & pre-mature aging.

Gorgeous looking sunglasses are a staple accessory in my collection. I love trying out different shapes, frames & colors to match my style. But buying sunglasses is a task it self. Because we wanna make sure that we get the most flattering frame style to compliment our face shape. Worry not, I have got your covered on this!

Look out for your face shapes to know my suggestions for most flattering frame picks for you.

Round:
So if you have round face play with geometric shaped sunglasses to emphasize on your different features. Opt for rectangular shape to elongate your face while cat eyes will sharpen your soft features.
Recommended frames: Rectangular & sharp cat eyes.

Square:
Opposite to the round face girls, you should offset your features with curvier frames. Dont opt for squared or defined cornered frames as it with look too flat on your face.
Recommended frames: Butterfly, round, aviators & round cornered cat eyes.

Heart:
If your have broad brows and narrow chin then you are Kylie Jenner's twin (No, I am kidding). Try out styles with bottom heavy frames to balance out. Shapes that are parallel and extend past the width of your face compliments your jawline. Aviators also look really flattering because the silhouettes contrasts your heart shaped face.
Recommended frames: Rectangular, exaggerated bottoms & aviators.

Oval:
Lucky you! because you have the most wiggle room when choosing eyewear & you are Rihanna twin! You basically get to wear whatever you want. You can opt for anything ranging from round to edgier.
Recommended: Round, Rectangular, aviators, cateye, oversized & the list goes on...

Which one are you picking?

They have always been a part of fashion and kept coming and going. This season like neck chokers, anklets chokers are big. From fashion runaways to celebrities to our favorite street style stars & fashion bloggers. Everyone is sporting these! Do we need another reason to buy one pair? Give your feet some rest from heels & put on these because I assure you that this athletic trend isn,t going anywhere sometime soon. I love how cool they look with a right fit jeans but still works great with skirts.

7. Pompoms:

Though I still have my heart with Mabu by Maria BK but I noticed that pompoms are not restricted to flats. I have seen some really great pompom gladiators & high heels. So, there is something for everyone. or you can get crafty and DIY!

OOTD | Weekend Blues on fleek

Dear Fashionistas!

Its already fall my girls. As much as we love the sunshine, summer drinks & pool, we also love layering up our looks in some beautiful colors for this season.

Recently I discovered this awesome brand named Cache Cache. As soon as I entered their store in Aziz mall, I felt that each & every piece is so my kind. I went gaga over them & bought so many tees, shirts, blazer, scarves & even sneakers. They have so many trendy & chic pieces, that I feel I can rock each one of those.

I was on search for a good birthday outfit to rock my all new 3.1 Phillip Lim in cobalt blue. I knew the colors, I had to pick something which had some chic & sporty vibes. I love stripes in black & white which is my favorite combo. Also I needed the perfect accessories to match the metal black detailing on my bag & cobalt in my outfit to tie it up all together.

And while keeping all this in my mind, this croptop caught my eyes & it was love at first sight. The color of sequence & this cute cat just looked perfect. I loved the number sticker on the sleeves, perfect combo of sporty, chic, bold & glamorous.

I wanted to keep all the attention to my bag & shirt to highlight the color, so I paired it with a simple black tights from New Look. I wore a black tank top underneath my croptop to cover the shirt length.

I got this perfect pair of sneakers from the same shop Cache Cache, they have sequence & has same color combo aka blue, black with silver sequins.

In accessories I had these beautiful Michael Kors sun glasses in blue shade & grey-silver frame. But with the watch I was confused as I couldn't wear a gold, rose gold or even silver with the black hardware of my bag.

I saw this pretty arm candy on Swarovski facebook page & instantly I ran to the store to pick it because it has perfect color to go with my bag & its really different then my usual watches. So, I picked this beautiful Swarovski Crytalline Oval Black watch with an all new stardust bracelet to go with it. Check

I used my Avon Speed Dry nail paint which I love the most out of my collection. I paired my outfit with a thick wing liner & bold pink lips.

Check out my complete look here & arm candy here.

I am in love with this outfit & will be repeating it real often. Makes me feel so "On fleek" & very comfortable for weekends, dinners & outings. How did you like my outfit? How will you rock this croptop?Let me know in the comments.
