5 Beauty Products You Should Never Share

Hello lovelies!

They say sharing is caring.
But when is comes to your makeup products, being selfish is the nicest thing you can do for yourself & others. Unless you want to exchange infections & germs with your friend. Keep the following products all to yourself.

1. Jars of creams:
Its no surprise that dipping & re-dipping fingers into a pot of cream is a recipe for germs, especially when you introduce your cream jars to new hands. Open jars are already at high risk of infection contamination because they don't contain airtight packaging, which means bacteria & fungus can easily reach it. So dont let anyone put a finger in your cream jar even if they have washed & scrubbed their hands because still there are good chances of infection. To prevent this, spoon a little amount of cream into travel sized pots for a week use & wash it well before refilling.

2. Lip glosses:
We all are guilty of a quick swipe of a friend's lipgloss during beauty emergencies or mid-day touch ups, but this borrowing is more risky than you might think. Because any product that touche lips directly can become a source of infections like cold-sore causing viruses. They can sit in the glosses & transfer very easily from a person to another. So for new lip glosses, keep your wands to yourself only.

3. Mascara:
This one should not come as a shock to anyone but there is a reason why mascara is not on sharing list. Because eye lashes & eye lids are home to host viruses, which can spoil mascara & cause pink eyes or an inflammation of cornea.

4. Makeup sponges:
With their squishy, porous surface these babies are one of the worst offenders on this list. Soft sponges, when moist creates am environment that breeds bacteria & yeast which can lead to a fungal infection like ringworm on face. Horrible? Right! Avoid this by using your sponge on clean skin only,  washing it weekly & allowing it to dry out in a well ventilated area. And no matter how bad your bestie wants to try your new beauty blender, just say no.

5. Tweezers:
Plucking a stray brow hair with your friend's tweezer may not seem like a big deal but sharing this could lead you to risk of fungal infections. And if you do your brows at a saloon make sure that your aesthetic is using sterilized disinfected instruments. To avoid this , alcohol swabs can be helpful to clean your tweezers at home.

I hope you find this helpful & take care of your self in a better way. Do you have any suggestions? How do you keep your beauty stuff safe? Do share with me in the comment section below.
Thank you.

xoxo
