Beauty Blender review

Hello beauties!

Today I'm sharing with you my experience of this much hyped beauty blender. I'm not much a foundation person but I gave it to the hype & ordered mine from an online Instagram store as then it was not available at Sephora.

I finally got it & was very eager to use it. I tried it first time with a CC cream for a wedding. Its very easy to dampen it just put it under the tap, run water & squeeze it so it absorbs the water. Once your beauty blender is double the size of it stop the water & squeeze out all the excess water possible.
I put my product on the back of my hand & then dab the beauty blender on it to take the product. The best part is it doesn't absorb excess product in it & applies the right amount which gives a beautiful & flawless finish.

Your Beauty Blender

Put it under water & squeeze to absorb water

Ta-daaaaaa!! Look at that size.

With the first use I was so impressed that I stopped using finger or any brush for the application. I had it for a quiet long time & have used it with different products. It works perfectly fine with every kind of a product & gives you that flawless finish. The only thing is that its not really effective around the eye area especially the corners but overall a very good sponge. Another thing which I like is the quality, usually the sponges have that squishy sound which the beauty blender doesn't have. It is very soft & easy to use.

Final Verdict:
Well this beauty blender is totally worth your money. It really gives a beautiful finish without making it look layered or cakey. It applies very thin layer of product while blending it into skin & gives you a flawless canvas to work on further. I will always suggest you to spend on quality rather than spending again & again on dupes or cheaper options. Ofcourse, I love it & already planning to purchase the smaller green ones & black one.

OOTD | May Fashion Haul + Spring/Weekend Outfit Inspiration

Dear Fashionistas!

Its almost summers but this year we have had really good spring time in Jtown. Spring calls for florals prints, bright colors, & pretty flowy dresses. But its also a great time to rock some boyfriend or ripped jeans with chambery shirts & sneakers.

I'm tshirt, jeans & sneakers kind of a girl. Lately I have been looking for a good boyfriend jeans as there are numerous ways to rock it, so I started my search & went to different stores. Finally, I scored a really good jeans at Forever21. The color is not so intense nor washed out infact its the perfect jeans color which can go with light colored & darker tops too.

To pair this jeans I also picked a black colored stripe & sheer back oversized shirt from Forever21. I loved the studs on shoulder which gave it an edgy look. The strip part is made up of cotton while the sides & back are sheer.

I have been looking for these black crochet Toms & I ordered them online from Markavip. I'm tall so I always prefer flats & sneakers over heels. These Toms looked really great with my boyfriend jeans & chambery black shirt.

I kept it as simple & comfy as I can by adding my all time favorite owl necklace, Michael Kors Wyatt watch, Michael Kors traveller Hamilton in black, sea-green colored anklet from random kiosk at mall & ofcourse one of my all time favorite Gucci flora. Because for me less is always more!

I picked all these things in May fashion Haul. I hope that you guyz liked a little spring/weekend outfit inspiration. Share your ideas & suggestions in the comment section below. I will be back soon with another outfit post till then keep sharing your love.

Stay Fashionable!

My best dressed- Met Gala 2015

Dear Fashion-aholics!

The biggest fashion night of the year is here. Yes! its time for another Met Gala post & this year's theme might be the most talked about to date. This year Met Gala's theme was "China: Through the looking glass" celebrating all things Chinese art, designs, dresses & everything that interprets the country's culture.
I dont know where to start but this year was a very difficult one for a moment I thought might be its the worst dressed ever this year. But some of them saved it for people like me. Big disappointed in my favorites but saw some different ones in pretty dresses. So here is my take.

My best dressed was Amal Clooney in John Galliano

Carey Mulligan in Balenciaga
Beyonce in custom made Givenchy
Lily Aldridge in Carolina Herrera

Claire Danes in Versace
Sofia Vergara in Marchesa dress

Kate Beckinsale in Dian von Fürstenberg
Bee Chaffer in Alexander McQueen
The ballerina chic Alicia Keys in Jean Paul Gaultier
Kate Hudson in Michael Kors

What were your favorites? Let me know in the comment section below. These are mine which I picked. I will be back with another post so, keep watching the space.

XOXO

7 ways to be more confident

Dear Beauties!

Confidence is a state of mind not physical appearance but it reflects on it. Confidence doesn't mean being perfect but being comfortable & proud in the skin you are. Those who are supremely self-assured aren't more capable or intelligent but they have a different way of looking at the world & their place in it. And thats a beautiful thing because, cliche though it is, if you feel good, you look good. Here are few ways to be more confident about yourself.

1. Swipe on some favorite beauty products:
A survey reported that 86% of women feel more confident when they use a favorite beauty product. So put on some favorite lipstick or mascara & rule the world.

2. Avoid all day primping:
Avoiding mirror sitting & stepping out boosts 28% of your self-esteem. Is a human nature that we notice the flaws which eventually will result in lower self-esteem. So step away from the mirror & limit your time in looking at mirror. And when you do, focus on the parts "You like!".

3. Walk it out:
There are hundreds of fitness apps. They are not only for taking 10,000 or 20,000 steps a day- they are a great way to strengthen your confidence too. Because wearing an exercise gear & tracking the fitness goal gives sense of accomplishment & motivates us for more.

4. Power ups:
Weight training also build your body image. Not only it strengthens your body but a good source of boosting up your self-esteem. Every time people increase the amount of weight they lift, their ego gets an immediate boost.

5. Watch your mouth:
Not only while eating but while speaking as well about yourself. Ragging about your short hairs & acne problems with other women can seem a friendly game of self-disrespecting. Because having a women complaining about her looks not only makes her less likable but it also decreases the body satisfaction on both ends. If a friends makes a negative statement,  change the topic & compliment on her killer sense of humor.

6. ME time:
The most confident people know how to be happy & productive with no one but themselves for company. Solo activities like meditation, hiking, reading or spa day can build confidence that you can spend time alone. Better yet, use your downtime to reflect & plan.

7. Stop slouching:
Yes your mom was right!
Slouching is bad for you not only for your posture. Hunching over can make you less likely to think positively about yourself. So now you know, stand tall.
