How to rock Denim on Denim

Hello trend-setters!

You all seeing this trend around? Aren't you?
Wondering how to rock this trend without breaking your pocket? Then keep reading.

Well I have compiled a few ways you can stay on trend because we all have few pieces of denim in our closet. Denim is a modern day fashion staple for everyone though it started just as a uniform or men's workwear. And these days with endless variety of indigo, specialty fabric  & ever evolving silhouettes, the styling possibility of denim is endless.

From shorts to skirts, tops to button up shirts, boot cuts to distressed we all have a tried & true collection of blues in our closet. While they go just about with everything you can pair these blues together for a very trendy look, some layering doesn't hurt anyone.
Since 90 the look reputation was bad but recently denim has taken a drastic 180'. It has been exploding in street styles & spotted at many fashion shows ranging from New York to Milan.

While some of the people are hesitant to rock the look, I would love to dress head-to-toe in denim & share with you the right way of doing denim on denim.

A London model Victoria Sekrier was spotted rocking this look a little over board. Its what she is wearing under her purple fur jacket. thats making the look fantastic. She paired an over all layered with a slightly darker button up shirt while the fur jacket kept the outfit on point & denim not overpowering. But even without the jacket the look will come very chic & trendy.

Here JLo hit the road in a skinny fit jeans with a button up shirt & messy hair updo. Making it comfy & chic both at same time.

Lee Da Hae rocked the ever popular high waisted fringe denim look while leaving the Seoul airport. She paired it with an oversized denim jacket & a loose fit white tank. Denim jackets re a must for music season, so if you dont have already go grab one.

And when it comes to staying in trend & rocking the looks how can we forget Kim K. She flaunted the look very beautifully with her curves.

Last but not the least, hands down to the Bad girl for doing denim on denim in countless ways. She is the look queen & I'm definitely following a few.

Which looks did you like? How are you pairing this look? Do you have any suggestions or recommendations? I would love to know, leave a comment in below section & i'll be back soon with another fashion post so stay tuned.

Thank you
xoxo

Victoria's Secret Body mists review

Hello fragrance-aholics!

Today I'm sharing my views about the VS body mists. I picked them from the Red Sea mall branch a long ago & the bag got buried under others & I completely forgot them. (sad)
While shifting the room stuff I found the bag & started using the these babies. I love how they smell & stays for a quiet long.  They make you smell very fresh & not so overpowering, which is a plus point.

So, I picked up 2 of them, Amber Romance & Pure Seduction.

Amber Romance is a warm & alluring blend of black cherry, creme anglaise, vanilla & sandalwood. It belongs to the secret garden collection. Its a very musky fragrance with tiny hint of vanilla & all you need is a spray or two for your day. Its very feminine & seductive scent. So if you are not into fruity or florals then this mist is your answer. Love it!

Pure Seduction is a combo of melon, plum & freesia that makes you feel utterly irresistable & seductive. Its a very girly & fruity smell, true to its name. I know alot of girls loving this & seen alot of guyz going crazy over this but I'm not a fruity or floral lover myself. Its like a candy with fresh breeze which is sweet & reminiscent of bubblegum which is not toothache inducing. Not a big fan of this but you never know.

I hope you find this helpful. Do you have any recommendation or suggestions? Please let me know by leaving a comment in below section.

Palazzo guide: 10 Ways to rock Palazzo Pants

Pretty Fashionistas!

Palazzo are super wide leg, loose, flowing pants that were super popular back in the 60s & 70s. And as many trends do, palazzos have made a comeback since last few years & seem like a major trend for this season that too pretty big ones. I see them everyday on Fashion bloggers, Pinterest & now even in stores around.
Being a desi I loved this trend & wore alot of palazzos with really long shirts but now its time to go more western with them. So I picked a few pairs which you will be seeing in my upcoming Instagram updates. I personally love them and they compliments my tall height really well. If paired nicely they really make me look thin (Big Yay for this). Also they can be worn for casual to professional & day to night looks. So lets get started & see what can we do with them.

1. Feminine look:
Pair your simple palazzo with a lace top for a pretty feminine look. It can be worn for a day look, breakfast, brunch & also for nights.

2. Edgy look:
Pair a bold color palazzo with simple top & leather jacket for solid & tough look. They go perfectly together.

3. Morning meetings:
Ofcourse being a blogger & so gregarious we do the morning meetings. What can be the best way then rocking the plazzo with a blazer & wedges or heels for more of a professional look. Dont forget to play with prints & colors.

4. Beach look:
Every time you have worn the cover ups & kaftans over your bikinis but this season use a palazzo & add a straw hat for a look that will be perfect for after beach too.

5. Errands running look:
Wear a high-waisted palazzo pants with a crop top, which is also good for giving your body some shape. Add some sunnies & sleek pony for ultra chich look.

6. The Jumpsuit look:
Wear it all in one color for an outfit that gives that jumpsuit look & accessorize for a pretty look.

7. Fun look:
Wear a bold funky graphic tee to go with your bold/bright palazzo for a fun outfit.

8. Comfy look:
Wear it with a loose top for  comfy outfit put dont forget to ass a necklace and a hat so it doesnt look like you are in your pjs.

9. Hippie vibes:
If you are not into the baggy style them tie a knot in the front of any shirt cinch it in at your waist.

10. Professional look:
Tuck in a button down printed or plain shirt with a belt & heels for more professional look.

Here are 10 ways to rock those palazzos. I'm loving all of these & surely you will see me doing them. What are your favorites? Or do you have any other ideas for these? Do let me know by leaving a comment in section below.

Real Technique Starter Eye Kit Review

Hello makeup-addicts!

I'm here today, sharing with you all a new review. Finally! I'm reviewing these Real Technique brushes. I got these brushes few months back & those months of using them gave me enough time to share my complete thoughts on these.

These brushes are designed by Samantha Chapman, who is a very famous makeup artist. These brushes are categorized in 3 different colors i.e; Gold- for a flawless base, Pink- for a perfect finish & Purple- for enhanced eyes.

This started kit has 5 brushes to do a perfect eye makeup. The brushes are Deluxe crease brush, base shadow brush, brow brush, pixel point eyeliner brush & accent brush, which all I will review in more details below. The brushes are made up of hand cut Taklon brushes with aluminium handles.

The kit comes in a very useful panoramic case that can be turned in to a stand/holder for the brushes. I find this very innovative & helpful. The same case can be used to make them stand when you travel & you can lose the togel later on to keep inside.

Now lets talk about them individually. Shall we?

1. Deluxe Crease Brush:
Soft oversized designed for effortless contouring.
This one is my favorite among all. Its so fluffy & soft which helps in blending the contour color effortlessly in the crease. I use i as a buff brush to blend everything together for the perfect eyelook. Its a must have & a very good brush for the beginners.

2. Base Shadow Brush:
Applies a smooth, flawless foundation of eyeshadow layer.
Its a flat tapered brush which works perfectly in pressing the eyeshadow on the lids while blending it. But I prefer a round shaped smaller brush for doing that. Its useful for blending the harsh lines.

3. Brow Brush:
Distinctive shape to define eye brows.
I m a brow lover & I always look up to the products for shaping & defining brows. I used this kind of brush before for filling my brows but I found this one a little stiffer and thinner then the ones I have used. I like how it helps in defining the brows & I also use it to add the color or eyeliner on my lower lashline.

4. Pixel Point Eyeliner Brush:
Tapered cut for dense & fine eyeliner application.
Ok! I will be honest here. I have used it for once because I use liquid eyeliner & secondly it looks thicker for eyeliner application. I used it for adding some eyeshadow on my lower lash because I cant think of any other use of it. Suggestions?

5.  Accent brush:
Its the smallest & tinniest member of this family. I absolutely love this brush for adding the highlighting on my tear duct + under & over my eyebrows. I also use it to apply powder highlight on my cupid bow & nose bridge.

Final Verdict:
In all honesty, I really liked the starter kit as a beginner. It has really helped me in improving my eye makeup skills & blending issues. Its a good kit for those who are starting the eye makeup. The material is good & the kit worth the money. I got it for 120SAR  or something around it from Bello shop.
