Real Technique Starter Eye Kit Review

Hello makeup-addicts!

I'm here today, sharing with you all a new review. Finally! I'm reviewing these Real Technique brushes. I got these brushes few months back & those months of using them gave me enough time to share my complete thoughts on these.

These brushes are designed by Samantha Chapman, who is a very famous makeup artist. These brushes are categorized in 3 different colors i.e; Gold- for a flawless base, Pink- for a perfect finish & Purple- for enhanced eyes.

This started kit has 5 brushes to do a perfect eye makeup. The brushes are Deluxe crease brush, base shadow brush, brow brush, pixel point eyeliner brush & accent brush, which all I will review in more details below. The brushes are made up of hand cut Taklon brushes with aluminium handles.

The kit comes in a very useful panoramic case that can be turned in to a stand/holder for the brushes. I find this very innovative & helpful. The same case can be used to make them stand when you travel & you can lose the togel later on to keep inside.

Now lets talk about them individually. Shall we?

1. Deluxe Crease Brush:
Soft oversized designed for effortless contouring.
This one is my favorite among all. Its so fluffy & soft which helps in blending the contour color effortlessly in the crease. I use i as a buff brush to blend everything together for the perfect eyelook. Its a must have & a very good brush for the beginners.

2. Base Shadow Brush:
Applies a smooth, flawless foundation of eyeshadow layer.
Its a flat tapered brush which works perfectly in pressing the eyeshadow on the lids while blending it. But I prefer a round shaped smaller brush for doing that. Its useful for blending the harsh lines.

3. Brow Brush:
Distinctive shape to define eye brows.
I m a brow lover & I always look up to the products for shaping & defining brows. I used this kind of brush before for filling my brows but I found this one a little stiffer and thinner then the ones I have used. I like how it helps in defining the brows & I also use it to add the color or eyeliner on my lower lashline.

4. Pixel Point Eyeliner Brush:
Tapered cut for dense & fine eyeliner application.
Ok! I will be honest here. I have used it for once because I use liquid eyeliner & secondly it looks thicker for eyeliner application. I used it for adding some eyeshadow on my lower lash because I cant think of any other use of it. Suggestions?

5.  Accent brush:
Its the smallest & tinniest member of this family. I absolutely love this brush for adding the highlighting on my tear duct + under & over my eyebrows. I also use it to apply powder highlight on my cupid bow & nose bridge.

Final Verdict:
In all honesty, I really liked the starter kit as a beginner. It has really helped me in improving my eye makeup skills & blending issues. Its a good kit for those who are starting the eye makeup. The material is good & the kit worth the money. I got it for 120SAR  or something around it from Bello shop.
