Fall Beauty Swaps | Winterizing your makeup look

Hey Gorgeous!

Its that time of the year again where I swap some of my daily makeup products with fall shades to winterize my makeup look. I dont wear makeup on daily basis but I carry a basic makeup bag with me, just in case if I have any urgent meeting or plans.

Fall skin is all about a beautiful glow so lets put our matte or powder foundations on side & opt for some beautiful dewy finishes. I will be swapping my UD powder foundation with my Dior Nude Air Serum foundation for a radiant look.

For brows I will be swapping my Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil 002 Hazel with 001 Dark Brown.
And I will also go to the store & check if they have another darker shade in Brow This Way Kit otherwise 002 Medium Brown is also fine.

I will be swapping my all time favorite H&M Dipliner with Bourjois Contour Clubbing Waterproof pencil in ultra black. Its creamy enough to give you a beautiful line but its smudge proof & stays put for long time. Its also great for the season's eye liner trend: encircled eyeliner
For completing this eyeliner look, some thick lashes are great so I will be using my Bourjois Max Volume mascara.

I will swap my NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milkshake with 605 Strawberry Milk.

For my lips I am swapping my MAC Please Me with NYX Butter Gloss in Trimisu & MAC Whirl for daytime. For nights I am loving MAC Rebel.

I am gonna put away my H&M blusher in Sweet Rose & carry my Benetint with me. Also for some extra color I have picked a new NYX cream blush in CB09 Orange. I am looking for a new berry shade cream blusher. (Leave your suggestions below)

Swapped my MAC MSF in Refresh with my Guerlain Terracotta bronzer for adding some warmth to my look.

How are you swaping yur makeup?

Beauty Must Have | Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub Review

Hello My Bubblies!

Alot of soft kisses for you all.
Today I'm sharing with you a very long due review of my favorite lip scrub.
You guyz have seen this scrub many times on my Instagram as I have mentioned my skin care must haves here, here & here.
So I finally took out the time to write this review & tell you bout this awesome product.

This is my first every lip & Lush product. I bought it & used it once but stopped using it as I didnt like it much. Then one day I decided to try it again & see if it works. And it actually did!

I love this scrub for my lips as it really exfoliates them well, removes all the dead skin & leaves them kissable. I love how it plumps my lips & make them look more fuller! My lips look pink & my lipsticks goes on smoothly & stays for hours without cracking or flaking, even the matte ones!
A little goes long way & you dont required alot of it to exfoliate your lips. I use it & then apply my Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm to moisturize.

It smells sweet & actually tastes like a bubblegum (Yes! I have tasted it). The jar is a little glass container with very Lush-ish black & white labeling. I love how the bright color is visible from boarders that makes it look even cuter. There are 2 more flavors available in this scrub, popcorn & mint julep, so if you dont like the smell you can opt for others.

I absolutely love this product & excited to try a few more from Lush. I'm happy that I took the plunge & purchased it for aroung 61SAR (If I remember correctly). I have been using it from quiet sometime & still it will last me like forever. Please recommend me some other Lush must haves. Till next time...

Whats your favorite lip scrub?

MACaholic | MAC Wash & Dry collection 2015

Hello Beauties!

We all know that I am a MAC hoarder & pretty packaging always makes me go gaga.
Then how could have I missed this collection from MAC?

This collection was one of summer 2015 collections by MAC & came out online in May but it was in Jeddah stores in August. This one was a big collection with bronzers, highlighters, blushers, eye shadows, eye pencils, eye brow products, lipsticks, glosses etc.

There were a few regular products with special packaging & some of the shades were limited edition. I was passing through the store & I saw the colorful display, after that we all know what happened. I picked total 4 products including my first limited edition brush.

MAC lipstick in  Morange:
I wanted to pick this shade in last year summers as orange lips were in. this shade is described as vivid bright orange color with an Amplified finish. Its a bold bright orange with warm red undertones & very very fine orange shimmer to it. This color is a regular shade but it was in a limited edition packaging so I finally picked it.

MAC Freshen Up Highlight powder:
A beautiful coral to neutral highlight powder. After mixing it together it gives a bright peachy tangerine warm tone with a very fine shimmery finish look. I also noticed that most of the sheen on the surface is an over-spray which is gone after first swatch. Its a tri colored powder that will make a good highlight for darker skin tone but just a blush for fair complexion. Any ways i picked it since the packaging was worth it.

MAC blusher in Hipness:
I went back 2nd day to pick this blusher because I dont know why I didnt pick on the first visit. Its a very pretty coral pink color with warm undertones to it. It has matte finish with good color payoff, soft & thin texture. The formula isnt powdery but I find it a lil difficult to blend on skin as it seems to stick on certain areas. But I absolutely love how it looks after application & I'm happy that I picked it.

MAC 125SE split fiber dense face brush:
This is the product I was really excited to try & I'm really really happy that I picked it. Its a widened, face brush with two distinct sides - natural fibers & synthetic fibers. I found it really different, had my eyes on it & its not available regularly so I immediately picked it.

So, the idea behind combining these two is that natural fibers give a very soft-defused look while the synthetic bristle fuse the color on the skin. This brush can be used with both; powder & cream products. It is flat at the top which makes it a really good brush for contouring as it will get into the hollows of your cheek.

I use it every time & I love the results.

Have you tried any product out of this collection?

October Favorites 2015

Dear Beauties!

We are already in November, thats like 2nd last month of the year, nearly end of 2015!

This month has been quite a good one for me in terms of beauty. I have discovered a few new favorites that I'm absolutely in love with & I'm excited to share them with you along some of other things.

To start off with I have been loving MAC Fix+ mist the most. Its been such a treat for my face & makeup routine. I love how it makes my skin look so radiant, hydrated & smooth. I picked it from the limited edition Fix+ collection & it smells like lavender which is just a very relaxing scent. I love to use it for my daily makeup, party makeup & sometimes itself for a beautiful skin. Read more here.

I love to try out different products & while that I cam across this Boots Cucumber Whitening Moisturizing day cream. I love how it moisturized my skin very well & makes it soft. This cream is an essential part of my every day morning routine. It doesnt make my skin oily & its very effective in removing that dull look from your face. Read more here.

As all my readers & followers know that I love lipsticks & I have been trying out many liquid lipsticks since they came out. So recently, I tried these MUA Luxe Liquid lipsticks on a recommendation from a friend as she mentioned that they are really good dupe of limecrime. Well I will not say that they are exact dupe but if you are looking for something that is easy on pocket then yes definitely a good option. Read more here.

So I had this perfect croptop which I loved wearing during this month. I picked in my recent fashion haul from Cache Cache. Its in my favorite combo of B&W stripes with cobalt blue sequence.  Check out the complete look I have put together here.

My this favorite isnt a beauty or fashion product but my all time favorite candle from Bath & Body works in Pumpkin Heirloom. I love the warm scent of pumpkin in my room while having a cup of coffee & reading some good book. I have used it really carefully as this isnt available throughout the year. BBW candles are my favorite & i always end up picking 3 to 4 during my every visit.

What have been your favorites for the month?

Stay Beautiful!

OOTD | Weekend Blues on fleek

Dear Fashionistas!

Its already fall my girls. As much as we love the sunshine, summer drinks & pool, we also love layering up our looks in some beautiful colors for this season.

Recently I discovered this awesome brand named Cache Cache. As soon as I entered their store in Aziz mall, I felt that each & every piece is so my kind. I went gaga over them & bought so many tees, shirts, blazer, scarves & even sneakers. They have so many trendy & chic pieces, that I feel I can rock each one of those.

I was on search for a good birthday outfit to rock my all new 3.1 Phillip Lim in cobalt blue. I knew the colors, I had to pick something which had some chic & sporty vibes. I love stripes in black & white which is my favorite combo. Also I needed the perfect accessories to match the metal black detailing on my bag & cobalt in my outfit to tie it up all together.

And while keeping all this in my mind, this croptop caught my eyes & it was love at first sight. The color of sequence & this cute cat just looked perfect. I loved the number sticker on the sleeves, perfect combo of sporty, chic, bold & glamorous.

I wanted to keep all the attention to my bag & shirt to highlight the color, so I paired it with a simple black tights from New Look. I wore a black tank top underneath my croptop to cover the shirt length.

I got this perfect pair of sneakers from the same shop Cache Cache, they have sequence & has same color combo aka blue, black with silver sequins.

In accessories I had these beautiful Michael Kors sun glasses in blue shade & grey-silver frame. But with the watch I was confused as I couldn't wear a gold, rose gold or even silver with the black hardware of my bag.

I saw this pretty arm candy on Swarovski facebook page & instantly I ran to the store to pick it because it has perfect color to go with my bag & its really different then my usual watches. So, I picked this beautiful Swarovski Crytalline Oval Black watch with an all new stardust bracelet to go with it. Check

I used my Avon Speed Dry nail paint which I love the most out of my collection. I paired my outfit with a thick wing liner & bold pink lips.

Check out my complete look here & arm candy here.

I am in love with this outfit & will be repeating it real often. Makes me feel so "On fleek" & very comfortable for weekends, dinners & outings. How did you like my outfit? How will you rock this croptop?Let me know in the comments.

MACaholic | MAC Fix+ spray (Limited Edition)

Hey Beauties!

I'm here again with another fab product review from my favorite beauty brand. Today we are talking about MAC Fix+ spray & see if its worth all the hype or no.

Let me burst your bubble. NO! its not a setting spray.

This product is often considered to be something which sets your makeup, but its NOT a setting spray. Instead its a very versatile perp, prime, finishing & refreshing spray. This product can be used in many different ways with your makeup which I will cover in another post.

So you guys must be wondering that what this spray is?
Well its a mist which acts as a bonding agent for your makeup, keeps it fresh & gives you a beautiful natural finish. Its basically designed to smoothen your skin, foundation & makeup texture. It does help your makeup stay longer but it doesn't set it.

This product is great for those having dry or dehydrated skin. The spray comes out in an equal mist on your face with every pump, not like a straight liquid on your face. I mostly use it under my foundation & after my moisturizer. I spray about 2-3 spritz & let it dry before applying my foundation. It does keep my skin smoother, fresh, makes my foundation last longer & gives it a very beautiful finish.

I have been wanting to try it since very long but always skipped it telling myself that I dont really need it. I'm glad that I did that because I finally picked it in limited edition lavender fragrance which smells ahmazing!. MAC limited editions are always a Yasss! for me & I love it if I get the regular shades or products in special packaging/fragrance.

I have been using it under my foundation, I tried it with Revlon Airbrush Photoready foundation, Dior Nude Air Serum Tint & Urban Decay Naked Ultra definition foundation. It works great under all of these especially it gives a beautiful look to my powder foundation. It really helps to smoothen that cakey foundation look on your face & I feel it helps in controlling the oil. This doesnt feel thick or sticky on my skin & it actually helps in reducing the pores. It preps & primes my skin for a flawless foundation & makeup application.

So, overall its a very versatile product that has many uses beside making your foundations look flawless. I will highly recommend you all to pick yours & I can see myself going through it like a candy. It has become a must have in my makeup routine & I would definitely repurchase. I purchased the limited edition for 112SAR which is really good. If you have not tried it then you are missing on life. Go, grab yours now!

Stay Gorgeous Girls!

Drugstore Gem | Boots Cucumber Whitening Moisturizing Day Cream

Hey Beauties!

I'm here to review another skin care product. When the weather is soaring upto 50' & humidity increases, our skin responds to it in a different way as well. May be you have been using some products which proved to be the best suit for your skin or you had the skin issues like me. I'm really careful about the basic care of my skin, if not extraordinary. I always use a good face wash, moisturizing day/night creams, eye cream & eat healthy because this all reflects on your skin.

If you follow my monthly favorites or regular skin care posts then you probably see the same products in the skin care routine coming back again and again. But with this heat my skin felt extra dehydrated & dried up to the level that I had rashes on my T-zone. All things were irritating my skin & I couldnt even use an SPF on my face. So I decided to change my skin products to something more lighter & moisturizing.

I changed my face wash & started using Dove Inner Glow NutriumSerum face wash which really helped in locking the natural moisture. But I also needed a good day cream which is light, has an SPF & also has whitening effect though I'm fair but still needs it to avoid the dullness & black spots. . I looked in few stores but nothing impressed me & I visited Boots to pick a few things where I saw this cream. I checked the label for the elements I was looking for and it ticked them all, so I opened the jar, smelled it & instantly bought it.

It effectively lightens & helps protecting the skin from daily UV exposure It contains whitening complex to lighten the skin naturally, removing the black patches/spots or any dullness on your face. Added UV filter protects the skin against sun exposure & damages. n addition, It is formulated with vitamins A & E which helps protecting the skin from environmental & weather damages leaving it soft & cucumber helps in preserving the natural skin moisture & enhances its complexion. .

It has really helped in making my skin more radiant, plump & glowing. I see a big difference on the areas I had spots or dullness. My skin looks even toned, radiant, brighter & all the sensitivity has gone. This smells divine like a very fresh & sweet cucumber that I m in love with.

So, if you are looking for something like this I will highly recommend that you guyz check out this cream. Totally worth its price & I have already repurchased it.. Enjoy another drugstore product, till next time.

Fall 2015 | 7 Most wearable fashion trend

Dear Beauties!

Its almost the time for another fashion roundup to check what we are going to see this fall. Alot of our looks got an upgrade & I'm so ready to rock a few of these. Car wash skirts to long line blazers, from browns to neons, I have some major alerts for you, so lets get started.

Call it a more polished sister of last year's fringe trend. Car wash skirts are big this season.

Statement earnings for minimal effort & maximum impact.
Layered up turtlenecks were all over the fashion weeks.

90s brown not only for your lips but for cloths as well
Look longer & leaner with an upgrade to our go-to-work-style with long line blazers
Its almost time to take a little break from skinny silhouettes & put on some flares

Chunky knit sweaters & even dresses were a hit on the runways.

What do you think about these? Which ones are you loving & going to rock? I have already started the long line blazer & brown one. Leave your love in the comment section below. I will be back with another post for my loves. Till next time...

Drugstore Gems | MUA Luxe (Are they really a dupe for Limecrime velvetine)

Dear Lipstick Junkie!

I am a lipstick hoarder & I have tried my best to try out as many liquid lipsticks as I can. On a recommendation I picked MUA Luxe Liquid Lipstciks in 3 colors; Tranquility(Peachy nude), Criminal (Hot pink) & Kooky ( Dark purple). They cost around 50SAR from an Instagram online store.

I was super excited to try out these because I checked a few videos & I loved the way they looked. The packaging is frost where you can see the lipstick shade like Velvetines, with a black cap & brush for application like many other liquid lipsticks.

The formula is little thicker then the original Velvetines & takes a little longer to dry on lips. Regardless of the timely sticky-ness, these babies dry to velvet-matte finish & stay for decent hours. These lipsticks are super pigmented , opaque color in one swipe- no to wait, dry & another layer to it. They are smudge proof & can be used without a lipliner.

I firstly swatched these on my hands & I was amazed that they stay put after hours of washing chores. The darker color remains for longer duration then the lighter
shades. I noticed that after scrubbing, laundry & dishes the darker shade was still on while the lighter one had only some remains.

The only downside is that they start flaking, makes my lips a little dry & doesnt stay forever on my lips. My friends have used them and it stay on their lips for like forever, the poor ladies have to use olive oil & lip scrub to get rid of it. But for me they stayed for like 2 hours and after that I had to reapply.

I dont mind that at all since they are very easy on pockets & for those who dont wanna spend on Velvetines can also get something similar but for me they are not the dupe for their formula. They come in very pretty range of colors options to select from.

L-R: Tranquility, Kookie & Criminal

You can see my lip swatches on my Instagram or below.

Kookie

Have you guys tried any of these? Do let me know what do you think about these. Also if you want me try any product & review it for you, leave all the details in the comment section below & keep watching the space for another liquid lipstick review soon. You can find these lipsticks on Fashion & Makeup Jeddah Facebook & Instagram, mention my name or blog details to get discount. Till then keep hoarding lipsticks!
